Tip of the Week

Belisi.com Tip: Adele Casagrande started her leather and fur workshop in 1918 and decided to call it Fendi in 1925, after she married Edoardo Fendi. First known for their fur coats, Fendi is now largely acclaimed for their designer handbags. Karl Lagerfeld is a key helper in designing Fendi products and it was also Lagerfeld who introduced the Fendi logo, the double "F."

Until recently, Fendi hasn't been quite as well known as some of they other designer handbag brands. However, they have been mentioned with some frequency on the hit show "Sex and the City;" one of Carrie Bradshaw's more well-known lines being, "I'm homeless! I'll be a bag lady! A Fendi bag lady, but a bag lady!" If you're interested in purchasing a Fendi handbag, you can be sure you're going to have a stylish, durable handbag. Most of the company's handbags are placed into three categories: Classic, Selleria, and Fall and the company is always coming out with new designs.
